Check My EligibilityCleanBC Energy Savings Program
Income-qualified • Up to $16,000 for heat pumps
The CleanBC program offers the largest rebates for BC homeowners. About 70% of households qualify based on income. If you do qualify, this is where the biggest savings come from.
What you can get (Level 1 income-qualified)
Income Thresholds (2026) - Level 1
You may qualify if your household income is below these thresholds:
| Household Size | Max Income |
|---|---|
| 1 person | $63,500 |
| 2 people | $79,000 |
| 3 people | $97,000 |
| 4 people | $118,000 |
| 5 + people | $134,000 |
Note: These are Level 1 thresholds for maximum rebates. Higher income households may qualify for Level 2 or 3 rebates. Income is verified through the Canada Revenue Agency.
We handle everything
As a registered CleanBC contractor, we submit your application, handle income verification, and apply the rebate directly to your invoice — you never pay the full amount upfront.

FortisBC Dual-Fuel Rebate
$5,000 standard • Up to $15,000 income-qualified
Keep your gas furnace as backup and add a heat pump for primary heating and cooling. This "dual-fuel" or "hybrid" setup gives you the best of both worlds — and qualifies for a $5,000 rebate from FortisBC.
Best for
- Larger homes (2,500+ sq ft)
- Homeowners wanting backup for coldest days
- Homes with existing gas furnace in good condition
- Those who want air conditioning too
How it works
The heat pump handles most of your heating (down to about -15°C) and all your cooling. On the coldest days, your gas furnace kicks in automatically.
You get efficiency of a heat pump, reliability of gas backup, and whole-home air conditioning — often for similar cost to heat pump only.
Oil-to-Heat Pump Affordability Program
Income-qualified • Up to $10,000+
If you're currently heating with oil and meet income requirements, you may qualify for the biggest rebates available — combining federal and provincial funding.
Switching from oil? You likely qualify for the biggest rebates.
